Job Summary

This position is for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse at a Level III Trauma Center in Zanesville, Ohio. The facility operates one of Ohio's top 10 busiest EDs, featuring 38 beds and 2 dedicated trauma bays.

The role involves providing comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, requiring strong clinical skills and adaptability to a dynamic setting.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department experience OR completion of at least 3 ED travel assignments.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR system.

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced clinical assessment and intervention skills in emergency situations.
• Proficiency in trauma care and critical care management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Shift Details

• Hours: 36 hours per week.
