Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week accepted
Guaranteed: 36 hrs/week

Facility / Unit:

• 54-bed Emergency Department
• State-designated Level III Trauma Center
• Level II Stroke Center
• Treats 60,000+ patients annually
• Patient ratios:
  • 1:1 for critical/trauma patients
  • 1:3–1:4 for other ED patients
    Requirements:
  • 2 years ER experience preferred
  • Will consider 18 months experience depending on recent specialty experience
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required
  • Active Alabama RN or Compact license
  • No temporary licenses accepted
  • NURSYS required
  • Certifications Required:
  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
  • NIHSS

  • TNCC

  • Other Details:
  • Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Scrubs: Solid Navy
  • Parking available
  • Patient-facing clinical role
