Account Executive – B2B Sales

Overview

As a B2B Account Executive, you are a key driver of new business growth and

long-term customer success. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building

relationships, and providing clients with best-in-class technology and document solutions

tailored to their needs. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy sales role for professionals

who thrive in a consultative, performance-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Prospect Qualify Leads: Identify potential customers through research, cold calling,

networking, and referrals.

 Client Engagement: Conduct discovery meetings to understand business challenges and

recommend appropriate solutions.

 Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate offerings—including Managed Print

Services, VoIP systems, and business technology solutions—highlighting ROI and

operational impact.

 Deal Management: Develop proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals with

decision-makers across various verticals.

 Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term client relationships through

regular follow-up, business reviews, and proactive service.

 Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), track pipeline

progress, and provide status updates to leadership.

 Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets, KPIs, and activity

benchmarks.

Success Metrics

 Generate a minimum of $X in new revenue monthly or quarterly, depending on

experience level and territory assignment

 Conduct 10–15 in-person or virtual new business appointments per week

 Maintain a qualified sales pipeline at 3x your monthly sales quota

 Achieve a minimum proposal-to-close ratio of 25%

 Follow up with 100% of leads within 24 hours of assignment or inquiry

 Log all sales activity daily with 90%+ CRM accuracy and completeness

 Perform monthly account reviews with top 20% of clients to identify upsell

opportunities

Required Skills Qualifications

 Proven success in B2B sales (2+ years), ideally in technology, office equipment, telecom,

or services industries

 Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills

 Excellent verbal and written communication; professional presentation ability

 Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

 Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

 Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (for field visits)
