Reports To:  Vice President

Position Type:  Full time

Expected Hours of Work/Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, Weekends as work requires.

Pay Range: 35,000 a year plus commission of gross sales 

Summary of Position:

The Sales Representative position will utilize the company’s various computer programs and tools to create new account and maintain existing accounts to produce commercial fencing opportunities. The opportunities in which the sales representative are to focus on, but not limited too will be commercial fencing sales to wholesale and retail customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain customer relationships by providing a great experience and presenting a professional image in terms of both appearance as well as the finished product (presentations, follow-up, & customer relationships)
• Maintain a professional personal appearance during all customer visits
• Performs take-offs in a precise and professional manner to deliver bids, proposals, and or budgets to customers
• Review costs with Vice President when estimate does not meet minimum gross profit guidelines
• Drafts and submits proposals via CRM system to allow delivery of proposals in a timely fashion
• Update potential CRM software through the sales process from time of request through final contract
• Perform “hand-off” meetings with operations to assist in the successful completion of sold projects
• Assists all levels of management, as assigned
• When necessary, additional duties may be assigned, and the company expects the Account Manager to exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems

Required Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of experience in commercial fencing sales
• Five or more years as an account manager or equivalent with similar responsibilities.
• General knowledge of fencing to include vinyl, metal, and wood.
• Must hold a valid and active Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen checks
• Good communication skills both written and oral

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work in hot environments during all seasons. 
• Ability to use a tape measure.

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced team-work based environment.

Travel Requirements:

Most travel will be Monday through Friday within assigned territory. There may be occasional travel required over the weekends as work requires.
