As a Senior Global Procurement Specialist, Professional Services, you will play a key role in enabling WSP's global operations by supporting procurement activities across professional services categories, including legal, financial, and consulting services. Working closely with global procurement leadership and internal stakeholders, you will help drive cost savings, operational efficiency, ESG compliance, and continuous improvement through disciplined sourcing and data-driven decision-making.

Your Impact

You will:

• Prepare and conduct sourcing events (RFx) and analyze supplier proposals to support strategic procurement decisions.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on defined criteria while supporting negotiations on contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Support contract development and ensure accurate documentation and governance within procurement systems.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, track performance metrics, and monitor compliance with contractual terms, escalating issues as required.
• Ensure sourcing activities align with organizational policies, ESG standards, and regulatory requirements, including tracking and reporting ESG compliance.
• Utilize digital procurement platforms to manage sourcing activities, reporting, analytics, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide procurement updates, and support the preparation of presentations and reports.
• Analyze spend data, prepare cost analyses, track savings, and ensure accuracy in purchase orders across assigned categories.

The Skills That Set You Apart

You bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations, with exposure to professional services categories.
• Demonstrated experience with sourcing processes, supplier management, contract administration, and category management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supplier data, spend trends, and market insights.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation and compliance requirements effectively.
• Proficiency with e-sourcing platforms, digital procurement systems, and procurement analytics or reporting tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory); French language proficiency is considered an asset.
• An understanding of sustainability, ethical sourcing principles, and global sourcing practices, including risk management.
