ProSidian seeks a Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist | Utility System Operations & Maintenance Management for program support on an Exempt 1099 contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Pasco County across the South East Region supporting Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services.

Seeking Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure sector experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure sector clients such as PCBOCC. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Utility System Operations & Maintenance Management functional area professional - Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems (Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure industry sector focusing on environmental services solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County utilities generally located in CONUS - Pasco County and across the South East Region (of country/world).

Responsibilities and Duties - Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist | Utility System Operations & Maintenance Management [PCBOCC0010009]

• Oversee daily operations of treatment systems; execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.; Ensure SCADA system functions, monitor energy/resource use, and support system optimization efforts.; Assist in sustainability tracking, digital logging, and efficiency upgrades across utility operations.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist | Utility System Operations & Maintenance Management [PCBOCC0010009] candidates:

• Certification in water/wastewater operations; additional instrumentation/SCADA certifications preferred.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• 3–10 years in municipal utility operations, with automation or sustainability operations preferred.

Skills Required

• Mechanical/electrical diagnostics, SOP documentation, SCADA operation, CMMS systems, safety compliance.

Competencies Required

• Hands-on problem-solving, process reliability, O&M tracking, teamwork.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Support integration of digital monitoring for energy and water conservation programs.
• Assist engineers with condition assessment and asset management data collection.

Other Details

• May involve 24/7 rotational shifts and emergency standby duties.
