Radiologic Technologist - X-RayPosition patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body as requested by the physician. Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operate film processing equipment. Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patients' bedsides. Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills required. Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, and basic plain personal scrubs. Closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or clogs, are required. Hair must be worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings allowed. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Requests for time off after upload or during the interview will not be approved. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted (less is better). Travelers may not take all holidays off. Must be available to work two blocks: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and the weekend after New Year's Eve through New Year's Day. Cynet Health
