What You'll Do
- Support the monthly and quarterly close process, helping ensure our books are accurate and on time
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, spotting discrepancies before they become problems
- Draft journal entries and maintain clean, organized supporting documentation
- Team up with departments across the business to keep financial reporting on track
- Help manage recurring accrual processes with accuracy and consistency
- Pitch in on internal control processes, learning the fundamentals of financial compliance
- Support audit season by preparing documentation and responding to requests
- Juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- Bring your ideas we're always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to do things
What You Bring
- A knack for clear communication you can explain the numbers to anyone, not just fellow accountants
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities at once
- Solid Excel skills; experience with accounting software is a bonus, but we'll teach you the rest
- A team-player mindset and genuine enthusiasm for learning and growing in your career
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
- 1-3 years of accounting experience in real estate or financial services; public accounting preferred
