Patient Care Tech (BHT) (Nights)

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral health agency that offers residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals facing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. Patient Care Technician The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a member of the multi‑disciplinary treatment team that provides direct care to behavioral health patients working under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) in person or telephonically. The primary focus is direct patient care as directed and delegated by the RN, Lead PCT, Operation Supervisor, Operations Administrator, or Program Manager. The PCT is also responsible for the safety of the unit they are assigned to, including identifying environmental and patient‑specific safety concerns, and elevating those concerns to the RN, RN Manager, Operations Supervisor, or designee as needed. Responsibilities Provide direct care to behavioral health patients under RN supervision. Assist with daily living activities and clinical care as delegated. Identify and report environmental and patient‑specific safety concerns. Elevate safety concerns to appropriate supervisors when necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred. Minimum of 6 months of healthcare‑related experience, ideally involving behavioral and medical crisis situations. Minimum of six months recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
