Operations Director

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Jenkintown, PA that is looking for a Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of an individual residential community or group of communities within the same geographic area. This individual will build and lead a strong onsite team while overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, workplace safety, marketing, operations, human resources, resident relations, and the overall performance of the property as a real estate asset.Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Operations: Oversee daily property operations, inspections, safety, purchasing, vendor procedures, and accounting processes while ensuring the community is properly maintained and operating efficiently
• Human Resources: Hire, train, coach, and supervise onsite employees while supporting payroll/timekeeping requirements, employee development, and adherence to company policies
• Marketing: Lead property marketing and leasing efforts, monitor market conditions, review sales activity, support outreach initiatives, and make recommendations related to pricing and advertising
• Resident Relations: Drive resident satisfaction and retention by maintaining strong customer service standards, overseeing resident services, addressing complaints, and helping resolve escalated resident concerns
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide overall direction and leadership to onsite supervisors and employees, including hiring, training, work assignments, coaching, performance management, and issue resolution

Skills

• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of property management or related experience
• Strong communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively lead a team
• Ability to travel between properties as needed

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
