Faithful Living, a welcoming personal care community in Denver, PA, is currently seeking a full-time Dietary Aide/Cook to join our dedicated team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys serving others and working in a supportive team environment. Paid training provided!

Position Overview:

As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality food service to our residents, their families, staff, and guests. You’ll work under the supervision of the Cook or Dietary Coordinator to help create a positive dining experience for everyone in our community.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Demonstrates good personal hygiene and professional appearance
• Able to follow directions and benefit from supervision
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Set tables and prepare dining areas for meals
• Serve meals and beverages to residents and guests
• Assist residents with menu choices as needed
• Ensure timely delivery of meals, beverages, and condiments
• Clear and clean tables after meals
• Operate dishwasher and properly store clean dishes
• Wash, dry, and store pots, pans, and other kitchenware
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and equipment
• Take out trash and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Work Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Must be available to work holidays and every other weekends

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

• 1 year of cooking experience
• 1 year of experience in a dietary department
• ServSafe Certification
