Job Details Shift: Days, Monday-Friday 4:30am until complete Sign on Bonus: $5,000 This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business. The primary role of the Warehouse Supervisor is the hiring, termination,directionand performance of associates. The Warehouse Supervisor also oversees functional areas of the warehouse such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns and management of the cage/vault as well as overseeing the verification and record keeping of outgoing shipments of controlled substances to customers. The warehouse may have different degrees ofradio-frequency(RF) devices to be used for these tasks. The warehouse supervisor is also responsibleto ensurethat all safety guidelines are followed. 1. Directs the workflow, motivates,trainsandmonitorsthe performance of warehouse associates. 2. Monitors work processes andmakessuggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity,efficiencyand accuracy for improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed. 3. Supports compliance with allappropriate policies, procedures, safetyrulesand DEA regulations. 4. Coachesemployees to support their development in the role. Depending on the assigned area, responsible for: 1. Supervises the receipt of merchandise, ensuring that only products intended for the Distribution Center are accepted by the receiving clerks; ensures that daily logs aremaintainedwithaccurateinformationrelativeto products received. 2. Oversees the department staff in counting,weighingandidentifyingitems being shipped; checks materials against invoices, bills of lading, customerordersand similar documents. 3. Oversees the department staff in filling orders,double-checkingand shipping controlled substances with theassistanceof cage/vault clerks or order fillers. 4. Maintains all records of the delivery process such as time, date, quantity,sourceand destination of materials shipped. 5. Oversees the manifests of routes and departures to ensure customers receive their merchandisein a timely manner. 6. May interact with customers in resolving delivery, or order filling issues. 7. Ensures the maintenance of records documenting order-fillingprocesssuch as quantity, size,strengthand NDC numbers. 8. Oversees the quality of the packing, protecting breakable items to ensure merchandise received by customers arrives in a satisfactory manner. 9. Ensures the maintenance of highly detailed records documenting incoming and outgoing controlled substances into the cage/vault area. 10. Responsible for associates in their area of responsibility; tracks attendance,monitorsperformance and manages overtime. 11. Performs related duties as assigned. Education: 1. Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computersciencesor similar vocationsgenerally obtainedthrough completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Work Experience: 1. Normally requires a minimum of two (2)yearsdirectly related and progressively responsible experience. Skills and Knowledge: 1. Ability to communicate effectively as a leader, both orally and in writing. 2. Good decision-making skills. 3. Mustpossessbasic mathematical skills. 4. Good analytical skills. 5. Good leadership/coaching skills. 6. Good interpersonal skills. 7. Working knowledge of warehouse operations 8. Strong organizational ski ls; attention to detail. 9. Knowledge of computers tooperativeeffectively with Outlook, PowerPoint,Wordand Excel. 10. Ability toestablishand maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates; foster teamwork. 11. May requireproficiencytooperatea reach truck. 12. Must be willing to work extended hours, take part in weekend on-call rotation, as needed, to meet productivity goals and provide emergency service to customers. 13. Must be willing toparticipatein physical inventory if scheduled.
