Job Description

We are seeking a Field Security Technician to support physical security technology across multiple healthcare facilities throughout the DFW area. This role combines desktop support, access control management, security camera support, and hands-on field service work. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience working with security-related hardware and technology.
Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot access control systems, badge readers, and security camera technology.
• Assist with managing facility access and security entry points.
• Install, relocate, and maintain security hardware and equipment.
• Troubleshoot vendor hardware and software issues as needed.
• Provide technical support to end users and facility staff.
• Track and communicate project progress, issues, and updates.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
• Travel to various facility locations to perform onsite support and installations.
• Assist with equipment deployments, hardware moves, and other hands-on technical tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Desktop Support Technician, PC Technician, Field Technician, or similar technical support role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting security systems, access controls, badging systems, or related technologies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable transportation for daily travel between locations.
• Comfortable performing hands-on installation work and lifting equipment as needed.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
