What You Will Do Be responsible for the development, analysis and completion of the most complex material proposals Work with other functions from across the company to understand and evaluate the material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and the associated program Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools Lead the development of Material Basis of Estimates to include tracking progress, validating and analyzing supplier quotes and Purchase Order History, ensuring consistency across the program, and confirming the estimating approach is sound Ensure proposals comply with all FAR and internal requirements often as the only material point of contact Assess, develop and implement solutions leading to a thorough material package Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs to ensure soundness in our material estimates Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience Professional experience in a related finance role Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Qualifications We Prefer Strong organization and analytical skills The ability to work well in teams, with peers and management Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to consistently meeting deadlines in a schedule driven environment Knowledge and experience with proposal development, price buildup, and estimating and pricing processes Knowledge of and/or experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), (TINA) and/or other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
