TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency department License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred Description: 3x12 hour shifts with night hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Two weekend shifts or four weekend days required every six weeks. Holiday coverage as needed with no call required. Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency department is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Certifications needed include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred. Experience with EPIC charting system is required. Skills required include arterial line management, ventilation management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Additional capabilities desired include starting and maintaining IVs, procedural sedation administration, and triage. Patient population includes adults with a variety of diagnoses including trauma, cardiac issues, and stroke. Interdisciplinary support available includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. Travelers may be floated to other campuses as needed. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam. Modules during orientation will vary in hours and are non-billable.
