Job Description
CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. As a CVOR RN, you will play a critical role in the operating room, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgery.
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, assessing for complications.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high standards of patient care.
Utilize appropriate scrub techniques and maintain sterile environments.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures preferred.
Strong assessment skills and ability to respond to medical emergencies.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Schedule and Requirements

Day shifts, 3x12 hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00).
Must be available for weekend call rotation (one weekend per month).
Experience floating between units may be required based on patient needs.
A personal vehicle is necessary for commuting to various locations within the region.

Additional Information

This position does not require block scheduling.
1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio is expected.
Orientation is a reduced non-billable orientation program.
Scrub color is flexible; provided in the operating room and catheter lab.
Charting will be conducted using Epic.
No parking fees are associated with the position.
