Project Manager II

We are STS Government Solutions (SGS), a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently supporting a new mission in San Antonio, TX and seeking additional team members to join our team. SGS is seeking a Project Manager II for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. What You'll Do: Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished withinprescribed time frame and funding parameters. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects. Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. May manage sub-contractors and their workforce. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. May manage Project Supervisors/leaders assigned to specific projects in larger organizations. What You Bring: Bachelors degree in Project Management or related field. 5+ yrs of recent relevant experience.
