Job Description The School of Information at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month, full-time and tenure-earning Assistant Professor position with a start date of August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable. Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Information Science, Information Technology, Security Studies or a closely related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, etc.) is required. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. Preferred Qualifications Research focuses on Cyber and/or Strategic Intelligence Tradecraft or Information Security/Cybersecurity. Strong quantitative research skills. Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publication. University-level teaching experience. Clearly articulated research agenda.
