Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour shifts, either from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with weekend call required.

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with cardiac (CV) and general surgery experience. This role requires proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing within the operating room. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care during surgeries and procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub during various surgical procedures.
• Assist in cardiac and general surgery cases, including vascular, thoracic, and robotic surgeries.
• Manage and coordinate patient care in the operating room.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols.
• Act as a key member of the surgical team, facilitating communication and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in a specialty role (OR).
• West Virginia RN license required; compact license accepted.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Proficiency in skills related to cardiovascular and general surgical procedures is a must.
