Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Emergency Room RN is responsible for providing high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. They will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working collaboratively with the medical team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
• Perform accurate patient assessments, prioritize care needs, and document findings appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and response to treatments, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic electronic health record system.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to float within scope across ER and similar units.
• Epic experience preferred.
