Product Engineer II

Cytiva seeks a Product Engineer II to lead problem-solving initiatives addressing customer and manufacturing issues while supporting new product introduction activities. The role involves cross-functional collaboration in a regulated manufacturing environment focused on polymeric materials and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured problem-solving to resolve customer complaints, nonconformances, and manufacturing deviations
- Support New Product Introduction activities including design transfer, process characterization, and validation
- Manage raw material change evaluations with impact assessments and risk analysis
- Analyze process and quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Drive change control processes ensuring documentation and cross-functional alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field
- 3+ years product, process, or quality engineering in regulated manufacturing
- Knowledge of polymeric materials manufacturing (membranes, films, nonwovens)
- Familiarity with change control processes (ECO/ECR) and cGMP/ISO environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (DMS, PSP, A3, 5 Whys)
