Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Special Education Teacher serving an elementary mild/moderate caseload for the upcoming school year. This contract role is conveniently based near Calabasas, CA, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with an established support team. The position is full-time, with one opening available from August 24, 2026, through June 9, 2027, supporting approximately 22-23 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential (required)
• Proven experience or desire to work with elementary-aged students with mild to moderate learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster positive working relationships with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to providing differentiated instruction and implementing IEP goals
• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and individualized instruction to a diverse elementary student caseload
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers for student success
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom that encourages growth and achievement
• Communicate regularly with families and guardians regarding student progress and strategies
