Shift Leader

Shift Leaders are comfortable taking responsibility as well as delegating it; they thrive on challenges and continually look for opportunities to learn. They are responsible for ensuring Guest satisfaction while maintaining efficient store operations and enforcing store policy. Along with the General Manager, they provide guidance to Team Members during their assigned shifts. We are looking for purpose-driven Shift Leader / Team Captain to become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. As a Shift Leader / Team Captain you will help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, but also provide guidance to Team Members when General Managers are not in the store. The successful Shift Leader / Team Captain will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges. Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Tips Responsibilities Assisting the General Manager in the overall operations of the store in a leadership capacity. Ensuring a superior guest experience, maximizing sales performance, and driving profitability while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Will complete the store opening/closing and following opening/closing procedures Makes bank deposits Assist the General Manager with product ordering Brand loyalty: Communicate and execute positive brand impression to the overall Guest experience. Must ensure consistency and high-quality preparation of smoothies and Guest service. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. Essential Functions Operates a blender and POS cashier system. Regularly moves boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs., throughout the store. Constantly positions self to bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shifts. Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F. The employee must be able to tolerate exposure to food allergens. Microsoft Office knowledge required. Knowledgeable of general POS functionality. Excellent Communication Skills, ability to give and receive feedback. At least sixteen (16) years of age or older. Experience in a fast-food environment preferred, but not necessary.
