The Material Handler - Equipment OperatorThe Material Handler - Equipment Operator may fulfill multiple roles in the Distribution Center environment to help fulfill the overall mission to process Inbound and/or Outbound freight accurately, timely, and safely.Major ActivitiesUtilizes manual and/or powered industrial equipment to load and unload inventory.Utilizes material handling equipment (reach truck and/or order picker/cherry picker) to fulfill shipping and receiving orders.Completes periodic safety training on the operation of machinery.Performs routine inspections of equipment and notifies leader of maintenance needs.May perform one or more of a variety of functions in a Distribution Center environment associated with fulfilling orders for retail stores and/or other Distribution Centers.
