Senior Risk Management Paralegal

As the Senior Risk Management Paralegal with this large international law firm, you will play a key role supporting the firm’s Information Governance and Risk Management functions. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, and client requirements, managing the lifecycle of electronic records, safeguarding sensitive information, administering legal holds, and supporting operational processes to promote effective risk management and information governance practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance Information Governance (IG) operations, workflows, departmental initiatives, policies, procedures, and governance technologies.
• Administer and monitor IG processes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, and client requirements while reducing risk.
• Manage the lifecycle of electronic client and firm records, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, classification, metadata, preservation, disposition, and data integrity.
• Safeguard sensitive and protected firm and client information by ensuring compliance with security, ethical, client, and regulatory requirements, and administers legal holds as directed.
• Resolve IG operational issues, serves as an escalation point, and provides root cause analysis, reporting, and workflow support to IG leadership.
• Develop training materials, support team training and firmwide awareness initiatives, reviews and implement Outside Counsel Guidelines, and lead special projects.
• Complete administrative responsibilities, prepare required reports, uphold confidentiality, discretion, and integrity, and perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Biglaw Experience. You have a strong legal support background and a minimum of two (2) or more years of relevant experience. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and prior experience as a Litigation Paralegal are highly sought after!
• Digitally literate. You have strong computer skills and can easily navigate a range of software including Microsoft Office Suite, Mimecast, SharePoint, Fresh Service, document management systems, iManage and NetDocs, and workflow automation tools.
• Sharp and on your A-game. You are seeking a high volume, fast paced work environment and are exceptionally detail oriented and organized. The ability to be proactive, problem solve and manage competing priorities and assignments will be essential to success in this role.

The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
