Our ASSA ABLOY South Central Service Center located in Mesquite, Texas is adding an Operations Supervisor on second shift to the team. This role provides hands-on leadership across multiple production areas and plays a key role in driving safety, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. ASSA ABLOY is growing, and there has never been a more exciting time to join our team!What would you do as our Operations Supervisor? You'll oversee daily production operations for a 30+ person team, lead continuous improvement efforts, and ensure customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time. You would also:Lead production operations across frame manufacturing, door frames, door modification, and welding cellsMaximize productivity while minimizing waste and inefficienciesEnsure on-time delivery and high-quality outputPlan and schedule resources to meet production goalsDrive lean manufacturing and process improvement initiativesTrain, coach, and develop team members to support flexibility and growthMaintain safe equipment, tools, and work environmentsImplement quality control standards and corrective actionsCollaborate with leadership to execute operational strategies and budgetsSpecial assignments as assignedThe Skills and Experience You Need:High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environmentExperience in metal forming or similar manufacturing environments preferredExposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologiesStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsERP system experience preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhat we offer!
