Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect/Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience with data processing and analytics using BigQuery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications and data pipelines using Java and GCP services.
• Implement data processing solutions using BigQuery to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develop solutions that efficiently handle and process large transaction volumes.
• Explore and implement AI technologies to automate coding tasks and improve development efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development practices.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 9+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services, particularly BigQuery.
• Proficiency in using Kafka for data streaming and processing.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and management.
• Proven experience in developing solutions that process large transaction volumes efficiently.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and experience in replacing task-based work with AI solutions, including coding automation.
• Familiarity with reporting/analytical applications and operational applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
