Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loansIdentify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional areaReview and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverablesPresent recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customersRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience in Healthcare, Higher Education and Nonprofit Lending sectorsAbility to quickly evaluate direct and operating exposure situations on short deadlines driven by the RFP processAdvanced credit structuring and portfolio analysis skills, with ability to evaluate complex and unique lending situationsDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Credit, Risk, Relationship Management, and OperationsStrong understanding of commercial credit policy, regulatory considerations, and risk rating methodologiesStrong communication skills, with ability to present complex credit findings and recommendations to leaders and credit partnersJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeThis position does not support Visa SponsorshipAbility to work a hybrid work scheduleSpecific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
