Mammography Technologist

Location: Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days, 8-hour varied shift

Job Description: The Mammography Technologist will perform a variety of Mammography exams for patients, applying principles, theories, and techniques of Mammography imaging to provide reliable imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mammography exams and ensure quality imaging results.
• Operate mammography equipment and maintain imaging protocols.
• Provide excellent patient care and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technology program [REQUIRED]
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification in Radiography and Mammography modalities [REQUIRED]
• Current Oregon license [REQUIRED]
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) [REQUIRED]
• One year previous experience in Mammography [REQUIRED]
• Experience in stereo biopsy preferred [PREFERRED]
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
