HR Operations Advisor

This role serves as a Human Resources Consultant with deep expertise in performance management and employee relations, focused on using data, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance how HR delivers value. You will partner closely with HR teams, managers, and business leaders to activate culture, elevate manager capability, and design scalable, data‑driven solutions that improve decision quality and reduce manual effort across the HR lifecycle. The position combines hands‑on case management with strategic consulting, offering exposure to complex workplace scenarios in a fast‑paced, global, and matrixed environment. Responsibilities Coach and advise managers and employees on complex workplace matters, using data and insights to inform recommendations and outcomes. Provide expert consultation on career development, performance management, workplace behavior, and HR policy interpretation. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR teams to support and enable strategic people priorities across the organization. Design and implement scalable, automated HR solutions that strengthen manager effectiveness and reduce manual effort throughout the HR lifecycle. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline HR workflows, improve decision quality, and free up time for higher‑impact consulting work. Partner across a matrixed environment, including HR, Legal, and Compliance, to help shape and apply local policies and practices. Lead the diagnosis and resolution of increasingly complex issues related to policy, culture, or employee relations concerns while prioritizing a safe and professional work environment. Identify and escalate trends in employee relations, and work with partners to implement solutions that reduce recurring issues and improve overall outcomes. Provide expert consulting on HR programs, processes, and initiatives, influencing decision‑making through strong judgment and context‑based insights. Use data‑driven insights to anticipate training and capability needs, and recommend or deliver targeted solutions such as training, communications, or resources. Evaluate HR processes for opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency, partnering with HR operations and technology teams to design and scale solutions. Apply organizational values and HR policies consistently across programs such as leave, retirement, immigration, and performance management to ensure compliance and fairness. Demonstrate and reinforce the organization’s culture and values in all interactions with managers, employees, and partners. Provide day‑to‑day HR consultation to managers and employees on performance management and employee relations matters. Manage and document HR cases in CRM and case management systems with a strong focus on data quality, completeness, and accuracy. Support performance management discussions and employee relations matters, including coaching managers on handling complex scenarios. Collaborate with HR partners on escalations and complex cases, ensuring issues are handled objectively and in alignment with policies and practices. Assist with short‑term operational tasks, including CRM/case management activities focused on data entry and accuracy, while contributing to broader team priorities. Continuously look for ways to modernize HR work through data, automation, and emerging technologies while remaining impartial and objective in applying practices and policies. Essential Skills 3–5 years of experience in performance management and employee relations, with demonstrated expertise in handling complex workplace scenarios. Proven ability to advise managers on performance issues, workplace behavior, and complex employee relations situations with sound judgment and practical guidance. At least 5 years of experience applying HR policies and practices, with a strong ability to interpret, communicate, and apply them consistently and objectively. 3–5 years of hands‑on experience managing HR cases in case management or CRM systems, including accurate data entry, documentation, and tracking. Strong understanding of HR programs and processes, including performance management, leave, retirement, immigration, and related HR policies. Demonstrated ability to remain impartial and objective when handling sensitive employee relations matters, applying practices and policies consistently. Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence decision‑making through context‑based insights and credible, data‑informed recommendations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with managers and employees and to explain complex HR concepts clearly. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, global, and matrixed environment while balancing multiple priorities. Comfort using data, automation, and emerging technologies to reimagine and improve HR processes and services. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience partnering with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams in a matrixed environment to address policy, culture, and employee relations matters. Experience designing or contributing to scalable, automated HR solutions that improve manager capability and reduce manual work. Experience identifying trends in employee relations data and developing interventions that reduce recurring issues. Demonstrated ability to anticipate training and capability needs and to recommend or support training, communication, or enablement solutions. Proven track record of contributing to continuous improvement efforts within HR operations or HR consulting functions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing case documentation and data quality. Ability to embody and champion organizational culture and values in daily work and interactions. Comfort working with CRM and case management tools and adapting to new HR technologies and systems. Interest in building and strengthening HR consulting skills while balancing operational support and strategic initiatives. Work Environment This position operates in a hybrid work environment based in the Redmond, WA area, with candidates expected to fulfill on‑site requirements. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, working 40 hours per week with no expected overtime. A hybrid schedule is required to provide on‑site support when needed, offering a blend of in‑person collaboration and remote work. You will work in a fast‑paced, global, and matrixed organization, partnering closely with HR, Legal, Compliance, and cross‑functional teams. The team leverages CRM and case management systems, along with standard HR technologies, to manage cases and drive data accuracy and insights. Standard equipment is provided to support your work. The environment emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong culture of professionalism, inclusion, and fairness.
