PositionSummary TheAccountingManagerleadsthemonth-endcloseprocess,maintainsstronginternalcontrols,overseesday-to-dayaccountingfunctions,andsupportsfinancialreporting,auditreadiness,andstrategicbusinessinitiatives.Thisroleservesasakeybusinesspartneracrossdepartments—providingtimelyfinancialinformation,identifyingopportunitiesforprocessimprovement,andensuringcompliancewithaccountingstandardsandcompanypolicies. KeyResponsibilities Reviewandapprovejournalentries,reconciliations,andsupportingschedules Maintainownershipofbalancesheetreconciliationsandrelatedcontrols PartnerwithFinanceleadershiptopreparemonthlyfinancialstatements,varianceanalysis,andmanagementreporting GeneralLedgerManagement ReviewcomplexaccountingtransactionsandensurecompliancewithGAAP OperationalAccountingOversight Reviewpaymentrunsandensurealignmentwithcashflowrequirements Partnerwithoperationalteamstoimprovefinancialprocessesandcontrols Audit,Compliance&InternalControls Maintaincompliancewithinternalcontrolsandaccountingpolicies Ensureauditreadinessthroughouttheyear Treasury,Insurance&RiskManagement Supporttreasuryactivities,cashmanagement,andbankingrelationships Manageaccountingactivitiesrelatedtoinsuranceprogrammesandclaims Monitorinsuranceaccrualsandrelatedfinancialreporting Assistwithriskmanagementinitiativesandfinancialcompliancerequirements Leadership&TeamDevelopment Supportrecruiting,onboarding,andsuccessionplanningwithintheaccountingfunction Cross-FunctionalPartnership CollaboratewithFP&A,HR,Operations,Merchandising,SupplyChain,andExecutiveLeadership Providefinancialinsightsthatsupportbusinessdecisions Participateinspecialprojects,systemimplementations,andprocessimprovementinitiatives RequiredQualifications Bachelor'sdegreeinAccounting,Finance,orrelatedfield StrongknowledgeofGAAPandfinancialreportingrequirements Experiencemanagingmonth-endcloseprocesses AdvancedMicrosoftExcelskills ExperienceworkingwithinERPandfinancialreportingsystems PreferredQualifications CPAdesignation Retail,distribution,ormulti-locationbusinessexperience Experiencesupportinghigh-growthorganisations Experiencewithprocessimprovementandsystemimplementations Basesalary:$110,000–$145,000annually,basedonqualificationsandexperience Bonusprogramme:10%ofannualsalarybasedonpersonalandcompanyperformance 401(k)withcompanymatch Paidtimeoffandholidaypay Schedule Occasionaltravelbetweencompanylocations #J-18808-Ljbffr
