Key Responsibilities Oversee finance, accounting, and compliance with GAAP standards. Manage the system of record (VIP) to ensure accurate sales and inventory data. Provide strategic financial and business leadership, partnering with cross‑functional teams to evaluate projects, systems, and transactions. Improve processes, ensure data integrity, and ensure accurate accounts payable functions. Reconcile and process Retail Incentive Programs (RIPS) and analyze discrepancies. Develop automated reporting tools and analyze data to drive improvements. Lead the preparation, review, and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; provide recommendations. Mandate compliance for month‑end and year‑end close activities, general ledger analysis, and coordination with internal and external auditors. Ensure all financial controls meet corporate policy and GAAP requirements. Manage state and local tax filings and regulatory reports. Hire, train, and develop a high‑performing distributor accounting/finance team; serve as backup for the Distributor Services Manager. Qualifications Master’s Degree plus 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Management (or Bachelor’s Degree plus 6 years of experience). Minimum 5 years supervisory or managerial experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements. Experience in budget preparation and controls. Experience with LEAN concepts and implementations. Proven ability to summarize large amounts of data. Experience working with cross‑functional teams. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience maintaining an ERP/Manufacturing system; SAP and VIP experience a plus. Travel up to 5% of the time for onboarding, training, and meetings. Desired Capabilities MBA plus 7 years of experience (or Bachelor’s plus 10 years). Strong financial planning and reporting skills. Experience managing a system of record, ideally VIP/SAP. Excellent planning, organization, problem‑solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Self‑mandated initiative and strong work ethic, detail orientation, sense of urgency, and customer orientation. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary ranging from $130,300 to $195,500 per year, with potential bonuses and incentive plans.
