Patent Litigation AssociateWe are seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 2+ years of patent litigation experience and a technology or life sciences background to join a nationally recognized corporate practice in Boston, New York, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have experience handling patent disputes in district court or ITC proceedings, including Markman hearings, technical analysis, and discovery management.This is an excellent opportunity to join an Am Law 100 firm with a collaborative culture, sophisticated deal work, and a clear path toward partnership. The firm is known for providing associates with meaningful responsibility, strong mentorship, and opportunities to work on high-profile transactions alongside experienced attorneys.Patent Litigation Associate ResponsibilitiesHandle preparation and trial of patent litigation mattersConduct technical analysis of products, patents, and infringement issuesDraft pleadings, motions, and complex legal briefsManage and oversee discovery processes and document productionPrepare and defend depositions and work closely with expert witnessesSupport Markman hearings and claim construction strategyCollaborate with cross-functional legal teams and contribute to case strategyPatent Litigation Associate RequirementsJD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmission to practice in CA, MA, NY, or DC (or ability to waive in)2+ years of patent litigation experienceExperience in district court and/or ITC proceedingsTechnical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field OR life sciences background (biology, immunology, biochemistry, etc.)Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detailProfessional presence and ability to interact with clients effectivelyPatent Litigation Associate BenefitsBonus eligible (top-of-market compensation; salary range $235,000 – $420,000)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with firm contributionGenerous paid time off and holidaysProfessional development and mentorship programsOpportunities for high-profile, cutting-edge IP litigation workWFH flexibility (hybrid schedule – approximately 60% in-office expectation)JOB ID: 177782 #postRenee Tabak
