RN Infection Control Nurse/Staff Development Coordinator | St. Joseph's Living Center $4,000 Sign-On Bonus Full-Time | 40 hrs per week Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | On-Call every 4th weekend At St. Joseph's Living Center, we not only provide compassionate and comprehensive care, but we are a leader in the industry when it comes to the value we place on resident care and employee appreciation! Delivering Solutions that Matter Lead the facility's infection prevention and control program through surveillance, audits, data analysis, and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with infection control regulations by monitoring practices, investigating outbreaks, and implementing corrective actions. Develop and deliver staff education, orientation, and ongoing clinical training to support regulatory compliance and quality care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify training needs, promote best practices, and improve resident outcomes. Maintain infection control records, monitor trends, and serve as a clinical resource for infection prevention and staff development. Qualifications for Success Active, unencumbered CT or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure 2+ years prior experience in infection prevention and control, staff development, and regulatory compliance with CMS, CDC, OSHA, and Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) standards preferred.
