Patience In Home Care provides home care nursing services for people with complex medical needs in the North Twin Cities Metro (Anoka County and surrounding areas).We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient's homes in accordance with an established care plan.Job type: Part-Time 12 hours per week (flexible days & hours)Overview: Providing 1:1 care in a loving home.Responsibilities:Provide health care services in patient's residence (including showering, dressing and toileting assistance).Transferring assistance.Perform domestic and household tasks (light housekeeping & laundry)Helping client with organizationAssist with client's personal care activitiesProvide companionship and basic emotional or psychological supportSkills and Requirements:Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standardsAssisting with showeringProficiency in EnglishCaring and compassionate personalityMust be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs.Helpful Skills:Proven working experience as Personal Care AssistantHealth care administration skillsBenefits:Flexible ScheduleCompetitive Pay401kESST - Sick & Safe Time - 1 hour accumulation every 30 hours (max 48/year, max accumulation 80 hours).Ask about Medical /Dental /Vision if interested; there can be a path!Salary: $17 - $21 per hour
