Electrical Controls / Automation Engineer - Alliance, OH
A well established and growing original equipment manufacturer located in the Alliance, Ohio area is seeking an Electrical Controls / Automation Engineer. Salary: Commensurate - Permanent Position with Benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
- Develop and test control software for PC, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC based systems
- Must have experience with programmable logic controllers.
- Must have strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Must be very detail oriented.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
- Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) experienced
- Must be willing to travel as needed.
Duties:
- Define and implement solutions for project system requirements and develop system specifications for industrial drive and automation systems.
- Recommend changes to unit and integration test plan elements as necessary.
- Manage project cost budget.
- Must be able to work at heights.
- Perform network connectivity troubleshooting.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
