Job Overview A law firm seeks an employment associate for its New York, NY office. The role involves handling complex employment litigation and providing employment law advice and counsel. The associate will engage in drafting and negotiation of employment-related agreements and may conduct due diligence on employment aspects of corporate transactions. Duties Manage litigation and perform legal research and drafting. Handle cases involving wage disputes, harassment, and discrimination. Provide advice on employment law and draft related agreements. Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions. Advise on restrictive covenants and employee mobility. Requirements 3-6 years of experience in labor and employment law. Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Experience in complex employment litigation defense. Ability to provide day-to-day employment advice. Strong writing and analytical skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) Certifications Admitted to practice in New Jersey and/or New York. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research and problem-solving skills.
