Senior Human Resources Generalist (On-Site)

As a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Spectrum, you'll administer policies and programs that balance employee advocacy and business needs. Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and provide comprehensive HR support across recruitment, retention, performance coaching, problem-solving and leadership development. You'll work with leaders to improve decisions and organizational effectiveness. How You’ll Make an ImpactProvide guidance to managers and employees on human resources issues and employment lawDevelop programs and initiatives to meet your team’s needsCoordinate solutions with senior HR teammates and implement plans to address long-term human resource needs and trendsPerform advanced employee relations functions including counseling, dispute resolution, managing performance issues, reviewing termination requests and conducting exit interviewsConduct complex and sensitive employee investigations, manage workers compensation reporting and safety regulation processesCoordinate administration of leave of absence programs, transitional work and accommodations, conduct benefits open enrollment and employee and supervisor trainingsEnsure timely and accurate HRIS and payroll entries, perform audit and compliance functions and maintain employee recordsDemonstrated project management skills, business acumen, and analytical skillsWorking ConditionsOffice environmentSome travel as requiredWhat You’ll Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalentExperience5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experienceSkillsCommunicate clearly in writing and verbally with all levels of employees and the publicMaintain confidentiality of informationMake decisions and solve problems under pressureDemonstrated PC skills and Microsoft Office skillsPrioritize and organize work effectively and work independentlyExercise judgment and initiative to complete duties in a timely mannerKnowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures including state and federal wage and hour lawsKnowledge of recruitment trends and technologies and of staffing and employment practicesDemonstrated knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law and demonstrated consultative and coaching skillsDemonstrated analytical skills, business acumen and project management skillsPreferred QualificationsEducationCertifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferredEmployee relations background; experience with conducting workplace investigationsManaging LOA/ADA requests Being able to use EQ, data and best practices/policy to navigate situations SkillsValid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company standardsKnowledge of Spectrum / telecommunications products and services#LI-SWD74 HGN345 2026-78367 2026 Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
