Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This unit offers a collaborative environment with a focus on high-quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to work in a hospital known for its beautiful campus and camaraderie among staff, including book clubs and group dinners. Employees have the option to request up to 2 major holidays off, and there is an emphasis on accommodating first-time travelers.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate, scrub, and provide care in labor and delivery, OB-GYN, post-op, and pre-op settings.
• Manage low-risk antepartum and labor delivery patients.
• Attend all deliveries and high-risk deliveries.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary, including blood products administration and cardioversion.
• Engage in couplet care and assist in GYN surgeries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Epic experience is required.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).
• Must hold an active compact license.
