Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and report abnormalities.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac status, and overall patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Float to similar units as needed.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Ability to pass the telemetry exam during orientation.
• Meditech experience preferred.
• Availability for 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
