This role ensures patient confidentiality, staff compliance, and the development and maintenance of unit policies, reports, budgets, and contracts. Provides strong leadership by upholding professional standards, supporting staff development, promoting patient rights, and fostering positive relationships with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Serves as a role model for nursing practice and participates in community education. Requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; the ability to prepare reports and interpret instructions; and thorough knowledge of state and federal confidentiality laws, including HIPAA. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Stands or walks most of the day (up to 10 hours); sits up to 3 hours. Frequently bends and reaches, including above shoulder level. Occasionally kneels and works with arms overhead. Uses hands for repetitive tasks and fine motor work. Lifts up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Requires strong vision and hand-eye coordination. Works in an outpatient healthcare setting. May work near equipment with moving parts. Exposed to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, chemicals, fumes, medical gases, and radiation. Noise level is usually moderate. Requirements Dialysis Nurse Manager Job Requirements Must be a full-time, direct (not contract) employee of the facility. Full-time means the nurse manager is available to work in the dialysis facility the number of hours that the facility is open or as facility policy requires for full-time employment (Federal Regulation) Graduate from an accredited school/college of nursing, Bachelor’s degree preferred Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (Federal Regulation) in Nebraska Minimum of one year current experience in clinical nursing (Federal Regulation), Medical-Surgical nursing preferred Basic Life Support certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred Leadership experience and ability Salary Description $91,187.00 (Based on Experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr Cherry County Hospital & Clinic
