IT Field Services TechnicianInstall, configure, troubleshoot, and service computer systems and connected devices using processes that comply with district standards and security policies.Minimum Qualifications:CompTIA, A+, or CCNA certification is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent plus college-level courses in computer technology, personal computers, operating software, and basic electronicsKnowledge and understanding of computers (Windows and Apple), related peripherals, and basic operating principlesWorking knowledge of LAN/WAN components, usage, basic operating principles, and network printingExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to troubleshoot and correct operational problems involved with computer hardware and softwareAbility to analyze difficult and complex operationsValid Arizona Driver's license: may need a personal vehicle to travel between sitesAbility to communicate and work effectively with staff and the publicKnowledge of and adherence to all policies, regulations, and rulesStrong documentation and communication skillsCore Job Functions:Diagnose and troubleshoot network, hardware, and software problems with individual user equipmentInstall, test, and configure new hardware and software systems, peripherals, and equipmentTrain users in the use of hardware and softwareDiagnose equipment and printer failures, replace defective components in the field if possible, or return to the shop for repair, install loaner equipment, return, and reinstall repaired equipment.Maintain accurate records of work processes, work completed, inventory control, and asset management tracking.Respond to customer service requests and dispatchUpdate existing security software on networks and workstationsMove, add, and change computer and telephone equipmentPerform imaging and installation procedures as outlined by the IT Team and related duties as requestedPerform all duties safely and prudently as directedCore Values:Excellence in all we do. They must be able to use a push/pull force of up to 50 pounds for machines and lift items up to 30 pounds.
