Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,379 – $2,553 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: Weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Start date: 06/22/2026 Setting: Hospital (Labor & Delivery unit) Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients, monitoring maternal and fetal status. Assess labor progression, administer medications as ordered (including analgesics and oxytocin as prescribed), and document findings in the charting system. Assist with delivery, provide immediate post-delivery care to the mother and newborn, and support newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed. Monitor vital signs, manage pain and comfort, and support family members throughout the labor and delivery process. Collaborate with obstetric physicians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal staff; respond to obstetric emergencies promptly. Maintain infection control practices, ensure patient safety, privacy, and advocacy, and complete required charting and handoffs accurately.
