Responsibilities Oversee all operations during the shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Set the example for staff and enforce 100% adherence to company policy and procedures. Staff schedules, complete paperwork, and monitor cost and cash controls. Manage food production, ensure schedule compliance, maintain a perfect store image, marketing, and profitability. Provide excellent customer service, maintain attendance and punctuality, arrange transportation to/from work, and uphold store cleanliness. Qualifications Operate all store equipment. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare and assemble product. Respond to and process telephone orders. Keep accurate inventory records and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Complete orientation and training on the job. Communicate orally and in writing with customers and co‑workers. Essential Functions / Skills Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) quickly and accurately. Provide correct monetary change. Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Coordinate motor skills for rapid and precise work. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather when removing trash or performing outside tasks. Store temperatures ranging from 36° to above 90°. Sudden temperature changes inside and outside the store. Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust. Cramped walk‑in cooler and other confined spaces. Hot surfaces up to 500° or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical Requirements Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking: short distances for short durations across various surfaces. Sitting: paperwork at a desk or table. Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds, stacked on pallets up to 72 shelves. Carrying: small cans, sauce, and trays of dough weighing up to 30 pounds. Pushing and Pulling: trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
