Litigation Associate Attorney


Location: Milwaukee, WI


Position Type: Full-Time


A growing law firm is seeking a driven Litigation Associate Attorney to join a dynamic litigation group in Milwaukee. This role offers high visibility, direct client interaction, and exceptional opportunities for long-term career advancement and professional development.


The position regularly handles a diverse caseload involving property restriction enforcement, contract disputes, construction defects, and general real property matters.


Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a varied caseload from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings/answers, handling discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, trial preparation, actual trial conduct, and appellate work.
  
  
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic counsel and regular case updates.
  
  
• Prepare for and chair client corporate meetings and engage in public speaking opportunities.
  
  
• Manage a high volume of projects alongside administrative staff.
  
  
• Oversee electronic task lists, timekeeping, and billing efficiently.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Active admission to practice law in Wisconsin.
  
  
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or representing governmental organizations in civil litigation.
  
  
• Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems and modern legal software.
  
  
• Attributes: Proven track record of dedication, strong interpersonal skills, and professional work ethic.
