Procurement Coordinator

Coco to the Trade is seeking a Quoting and Procurement Coordinator to prepare accurate, timely quotes and proposals, create purchase orders and place orders for our interior design clients. This is a fast-paced role that combines product research, pricing, vendor communication, order placement and customer service. Success requires precision, strong organization, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple requests without letting details slip. The day-to-day work is administrative and analytical rather than creative design work. A professional or educational background in interior design, furniture, home furnishings, or a closely related field is required so you can understand the specifications, materials, finishes, customization options, and terminology behind each request. The role does not involve AutoCAD, SketchUP, or rendering. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive knowledge of more than 100 vendors offering furniture, lighting, accessories, upholstery, and other home furnishings, including their policies and procedures. Research and verify product specifications, pricing, availability, lead times, freight, surcharges, and special-order requirements. Communicate directly with vendor representatives to obtain information and resolve pricing or specification discrepancies. Calculate customer pricing using vendor costs and Coco's internal pricing guidelines. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely pricing responses by email when a formal proposal is not required. Create detailed, client-facing proposals in Ivy, ensuring that all details are entered and presented accurately. Respond promptly and professionally to designer questions and revisions. Coordinate with the Coco team throughout the quote-to-order process to ensure all necessary information and approvals are in place.
