Job Summary

Is responsible for the production of optimal quality radiographs in an efficient manner while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate with the patient's age, to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. Understands the functionality of multiple types of Imaging equipment including DR, CR, fluoroscopy, C-arms and portable radiographic units. Provide patient care utilizing Cerner and Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS). Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and utilizes trouble shooting skills. Is reliable with consistently covering weekend shift as scheduled, in reference to HR policy.

Requirements

• Preferred Associate's Degree
• Preferred High School Diploma Graduate of AMA-JCH approved program in Radiological Technology.
• 2-4 years Experienced preferred but will consider new graduate. Required
• ARRT - Am Registered Rad Tech
• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
• RT - Radiology Technologist

Specific Requirements Must be reliable to cover designated weekend shift as outlined in HR policy. Must have the ability to use problem solving skills and function independently in the absence of a supervisor. Must be flexible to handle ever changing demands of department.
