Product Manager, Growth

About the Role Product Manager with 5+ years experience, focusing on product‑led growth (PLG) for a B2B SaaS/AI platform. Will define and own Glean’s Growth product; drive activation, retention, expansion, and enterprise adoption. Work with engineering, design, data, and go‑to‑market teams to build activation loops, platform growth features, and off‑surface integration. Responsibilities Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Growth, translating company vision into specific bets across activation, retention, and expansion. Own PLG motion end to end—from acquisition and onboarding through activation, habit formation, and self‑serve expansion—and design loops that turn individual adopters into team and org‑wide usage. Build platform‑level growth capabilities such as referrals, invitations, notifications, in‑product education, and lifecycle messaging that compound across surfaces. Drive off‑surface growth by delivering value in existing workplace tools (browser extension, email, Slack and Teams, mobile, etc.). Partner with engineering, design, and data teams to scope and ship experiments with clear user flows, instrumentation, quality standards, and measurable outcomes. Establish experimentation culture: define key activation/retention metrics, instrument funnels, run A/B tests, and iterate quickly. Balance long‑term opportunities with urgent customer needs, prioritizing features that accelerate growth. Collaborate with go‑to‑market, marketing, solutions, and support teams to align growth strategy with real customer adoption. Ensure high product craft by specifying onboarding flows, UI behavior, and adoption paths. Qualifications 5+ years of product management experience, having owned and shipped growth or PLG areas in B2B SaaS, consumer, AI, or platform products. Deep fluency in growth mechanics—funnels, activation, retention, virality, lifecycle—and data‑driven decision making. Strong product sense; able to move between strategy and detailed execution. Interest in AI and enterprise software; thrives in ambiguous, emerging product spaces. Excellent communicator, self‑starter, collaborator, and growth‑mindset. Mission‑first orientation; success measured by product and team results; early adopter of AI for own work. Location Hybrid: 4 days a week in San Francisco office. Compensation & Benefits The base salary range is $175,000 – $280,000 annually. Compensation may include variable pay, equity, and benefits such as medical, vision, dental, time‑off, and 401(k) match. A home‑office improvement stipend and annual educational and wellness stipends support growth and well‑being. Food is provided daily.
