Clinical Research Associate II

Clinical Research Associate II supports AbbVie's clinical trial operations by serving as the primary liaison between investigative sites and the company. The role focuses on ensuring protocol compliance, data integrity, site performance, and patient safety across assigned studies.

Responsibilities Serve as primary contact and relationship builder with investigative sites and principal investigators Conduct site evaluations, training sessions, monitoring visits, and closure activities compliant with protocols and GCP standards Develop and implement site-specific engagement strategies using CRM tools to track progress and measure impact Monitor site activities for early identification of performance or patient safety issues; develop corrective action plans Ensure data quality, timely submission, and audit/regulatory inspection readiness at assigned clinical sites Requirements Bachelor's degree in health-related discipline (medical, scientific, or nursing) Minimum 1 year clinically related experience; 6 months in clinical research monitoring Knowledge of risk-based monitoring approaches and therapeutic area indications Advanced understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines and local regulatory requirements Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities Proficiency with technology platforms and CRM tools for site management
