Volt is immediately hiring multiple Machinists in Tempe, AZ for both full-time and part-time weekend positions.

*Clean - Air-Conditioned Shop Environment*

As a Machinist, you will:

• Perform machine set-ups on various CNC equipment.
• Operate and oversee multiple machines throughout the shift in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Work primarily on large mill and lathe projects, typically involving 50 parts or fewer per job.
• Utilize and maintain machines such as Bridgeport, DMG MORI, and 3-Axis Mills.
• Support operations involving horizontal mills and lathes.
• Manage palletized machine systems, including restocking pallets as needed.
• Ensure high-quality output and adherence to production standards.

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

Schedule:

Schedule 1 - Monday - Friday - 3:30pm to 12am

Schedule 2 - Friday - Sunday - 5am to 5:30pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous CNC machine setup experience.
• Experience with horizontal mills, lathes, and large format machining.
• Familiarity with CMM programming or PC-DMIS (highly beneficial).
• Strong multitasking ability and comfort overseeing multiple machines.
• We will also consider candidates with no prior experience who are currently enrolled in a machining or technical program.

Payrate: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour DOE
